Our Story
As a founder who studied in the UK and now works in Europe, I feel particularly strongly about the “Chinese fever” phenomenon.
When I was studying abroad, I was surrounded by many students and friends who were interested in learning Chinese, but they were unable to find a suitable learning institution and an effective learning method, so they missed the best opportunity to learn the language.

In recent years, due to the nature of my work, I have to deal with clients from all over the world, and I have unexpectedly found that Chinese is used much more frequently than before.
In addition to the increase in the number of clients from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and other Chinese-speaking regions, clients from other non-Chinese speaking countries (such as Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, the United States, Canada, and European countries) are also gradually using Chinese-speaking languages for communication. The use of Chinese as a second or third language has become a worldwide trend.
The nephews and nieces of the founder of Lumos live abroad and are willing to take the initiative to learn Chinese in order to help their children develop an interest in learning the language and communicate with their family members in Taiwan, which became the opportunity for the founding of Lumos.
